Simple structure of liquid level sensor

- Jul 11, 2020-

Liquid level sensors (level gauges) are suitable for level measurement of various media in petrochemical, metallurgy, electric power, pharmaceutical, water supply and drainage, environmental protection and other systems and industries. The exquisite structure, simple adjustment and flexible installation provide convenience for users to use easily. Standard signal output modes such as 4-20mA, 0-5v, 0-10mA, etc. can be selected by the user according to their needs.

Using the principle of hydrostatics to measure liquid level is an important application of pressure sensors. The use of a special cable with a ventilation duct in the middle and a special sealing technology not only ensure the water tightness of the sensor, but also make the reference pressure chamber communicate with the ambient pressure, thus ensuring the high precision and high stability of the measurement.

The photoelectric level sensor is a new contact type point level measurement and control device developed by the principle of light reflection and refraction at the interface of two different media. It has many advantages such as simple structure, high positioning accuracy, no mechanical parts, no need for debugging, high sensitivity and corrosion resistance, low power consumption, and small size, and has been gradually recognized by the market.

1. Since the output of the liquid level is only related to whether the photoelectric probe is in contact with the liquid surface, and has nothing to do with other characteristics of the medium, such as temperature, pressure, density, electricity and other parameters, the photoelectric liquid level sensor has accurate detection and high repeatability; fast response speed , The liquid level control is very accurate, and it can be installed and used directly without adjustment.

2. Due to the relatively small size of the photoelectric liquid level sensor probe, it can be separately installed in a small space and suitable for use in special tanks or containers. In addition, multiple photoelectric probes can be installed on one measuring body to make multi-point liquid level sensors and variable controllers.

3. Because all the components inside the sensor are encapsulated by resin, there are no mechanical moving parts inside the sensor, so the photoelectric level sensor has high reliability, long life, and maintenance-free.
