Principle and characteristics of photoelectric liquid level sensor

- Jul 03, 2020-

The photoelectric level sensor is a new contact type point level measurement and control device developed by the principle of light reflection and refraction at the interface of two different media. It has many advantages such as simple structure, high positioning accuracy, no mechanical parts, no need for debugging, high sensitivity and corrosion resistance, low power consumption, and small size, and is gradually recognized by the market.

1. Since the output of the liquid level is only related to whether the photoelectric probe is in contact with the liquid surface, and has nothing to do with other characteristics of the medium, such as temperature, pressure, density, electricity and other parameters, the photoelectric liquid level sensor has accurate detection and high repeat accuracy; fast response speed , The liquid level control is very accurate, and it can be installed and used directly without adjustment.

2. Due to the relatively small size of the photoelectric liquid level sensor probe, it can be separately installed in a small space and suitable for use in special tanks or containers. In addition, multiple photoelectric probes can be installed on one measuring body to make multi-point liquid level sensors and variable controllers.

3. Because all the components inside the sensor are encapsulated by resin, there are no mechanical moving parts inside the sensor, so the photoelectric level sensor has high reliability, long life, and maintenance-free.
